Viral Lathia, MD, is an interventional cardiologist at Complete Cardiac & Vascular Care in Mansfield, Texas. Dr. Lathia holds board certifications in nuclear cardiology, vascular interpretation, and interventional cardiology. After completing his medical education at D Y Patil University School of Medicine in Navi Mumbai, India, Dr. Lathia relocated to the United States for a research experience at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. During this experience, Dr. Lathia worked with a team of mathematicians, chemists, chemical engineers, and critical care medicine attendings who were trying to make a control formula for a filtration device that removes harmful inflammatory markers during sepsis.
